I love the shots of him in the spotlight "pushing it." He's the man!

For further proof, here's Hustlin. I'm not sure who or what the Boobie Boys are, but who else could wear that amazing shirt??

Just Weezy
09:12pm 08/02/2007
Wow, talk about LITTLE Wayne! I mostly enjoy the guy in the background around 3 minutes who's doing the Liz Roy dance.

This is good because DJ Khaled made all these southern rappers rap faster than they normally do. That's a switch up.

And this is why Rap City is the best show on tv.

I love his dance. He's real big into the printed t-shirts with various slogans related to his songs. I of course want them all.

I think they forgot to invite me to be in this video. But it's only cuz I was probably 4.

A couple classics

Notice how there are few hoes in this, minimal bling, and no 22" rims or any cars at all? Yeah, all of that means it's LEGIT. And Biggie could not look any better or sound any better. RIP! Why isn't he still alive?!!!

You really can't fuck with them.

Music video blog
05:51pm 02/02/2007
Ok, I'm trying this out. I'm switching it up and making this a music video blog. More for myself than anyone else because well, who reads LJ's anymore? So to kick it off, here are some rap videos.

The Game and Kanye, because it's probably the most ridiculous (in a bad way) video I've seen in some time.

Cuz he's Weezy!

A new one I'm loving. My life theme song perhaps? haha.

The robot sucks, but Jill Scott is looks and sounds amazing! She's the woman.

Stay tuned for more to come. Possibly like right now, cuz I have nothing else to do.

"i feel so good right now."
"you do?"
"i just shot three golden russets out my nose!"

ryan went to happy endings for the first time tonight. we wore the most gorgeous coordinating ensembles. we call it "modern romance." there will be amazing pictures from the disposeable camera he bought at store 24. he ended up going there 3 times tonight. i got introduced to his "russian mate," the cashier. right now he's on van's bed telling me something about uncle tony's style. outside of happy endings at the end of the night i met a straight guy and his brother. maybe i should be at t's pub instead. now he's telling me some very personal things....haha.

ya grill
01:18pm 14/08/2006

music: mtv jams
So I'm sitting here watching rap videos and realizing that grillz have become overexposed. The second that Gwen Stefani has one is when you really know it's over, and I'm sure if she had a record coming out she would most definitely be wearing one in her video. In fact, the owning of grillz shouldn't even be extended to rappers outside of the "dirrty souf." Sure, NYC is gritty and all, but ain't nothin' dirrrty like the South. Paul Wall, ya heard me! NYC rappers are usually the trendsetters, not only that, but they're far too clean-looking to have a shiny thing beaming out of their mouf. I associate them with nonstop puffing on a Phillies blunt, with a perfectly tilted cap on their head and freshly pressed throwback jersey on, like Method Man ;). I would imagine that smoking doesn't mix well with a grill, considering the staining factor. That's probably why, at least in Houston, they're all about cough syrup highs. Just pour it down your throat, right past your grill! Smooth like buttahhhhh!

(I really wish the return of the dookie rope took off more. We all need thick, gold ropes around our necks.)

i'm doing laundry on friday night
01:39am 01/07/2006

mood: weird
today i did my favorite pre-going to work at 4 routine. i got a sandwich (a cubano today) at volle nolle, then went over to columbus park and sat on the grass/basked in the sunshine and did the crossword. i actually got a bra tanline on one shoulder! later on i talked to linda and saved mark from getting fired. linda said, "i told him he owes you...and he didn't even tell me i looked nice!" she was in a nice summery teal tank top with a collar with a button on it. closing at 10 wasn't that bad, even though i didn't leave until 11 because i started cleaning late since the mark drama was going on, and linda bought me a tuna roll from ames plow. other fun linda times from last week include a joy ride to wainwright bank with linda and her mother! yes, i met her mother, perhaps one of the highlights of my summer at bp so far. the other good day at work was when i basically did nothing but eat lunch with linda at ames plow (that's where she does the schedule usually). britney and i got the story on what linda did before bp and also how boston pretzel became boston pretzel. fun fact: it was actually called boston soft pretzel before linda took it over from the guy who went bankrupt.

i just painted my toenails so they'll good in my awesome (probably painful) steve madden sandals that i'm wearing to the rehearsal dinner tomorrow, along with a purple dress i'm already pretty in love with. sunday is the wedding! that's nuts! hope i don't sweat my balls off. speaking of balls, when britney saw her ex-bf and freaked out i told her to calm down by saying, "chill out! put your balls on ice!" thats worth reusing mos' def!

diagnosis
10:46am 12/05/2006

mood: sleepy
So according to online, I have occupational dermatitis. Meaning I've become allergic to lemons from constantly working with them. Great. That's the least annoying and most tip-friendly place to work at BP. This stupid rash woke me up at 4:30, kept me up till 5:15, then woke me up a couple times around 6-7am. Luckily I called Linda and got Mark to work for me. I felt bad, but whatever, I went in when he cut (barely) his finger. I don't want customers to get grossed out by being handed a pretzel from someone who has red splotches on her forearm and a dried out, cracked finger. UGH. This shit better calm down by Monday. I'm trying to get out of work tomorrow too.

Good news is, I got my passport this morning. I could not look more like a migrant worker if I tried. Just goes to show it's always better to smile. A weak attempt at a smile when I'm honestly pissed off just results in the migrant feel coming through times a thousand. At least I look like a humble field worker.

The boat cruise. Already feels like it was a week ago but no, it was just last night. Good fun! Good dancing, good people, good vibes. On the bus ride over to the boat the radio was playing Bob Marley. You know it's going to be a good night when Bob's involved. Even when we got home at 2-whatever, after going to a lame after-party on Highgate St in Allston, I still felt a little like my equilibrium was off. It was similar to that post-ocean waves feeling. Coulda just been the $5 Buddy L's. They were CANS! Goddamn!

Tonight, we take on the Casbah for the last time ever. Are you in, or are you out? ;)
